<p> Se publicó en la Gaceta Oficial del Distrito Federal la Ley de Protección de Datos Personales (LPDP), basada en estándares internacionales para garantizar que la información personal sólo se utilice para el propósito para el que fue recolectada en un principio.</p>
<p>La LPDP define como datos personales a toda la información alfanumérica, gráfica, acústica o de cualquier otro tipo, concerniente a una persona física, identificada o identificable.</p>
<p>También se consideran como datos personales las características físicas, la vida afectiva y familiar, el domicilio y teléfono particular, correo electrónico no oficial, patrimonio, estados de salud, huella digital y número de seguridad social, además del ADN.</p>
